Despite being aggressive in the agricultural sector and owning fertile land, Goa is always in requirement of additional feed supplements.
Knowing the benefits of cattle feed supplements, the government is also encouraging the use of cattle feed supplements through various schemes and subsidies and is also propagating knowledge about the benefits of these supplements to the relevant population. These feed supplements are used regularly as they provide essential nutrients like proteins, vitamins, and minerals which are not always available in sufficient quantities in natural feed fed to them. Usage of these supplements results in improved milk yield, growth rates, and overall health of cattle, poultry, fish, and livestock, thereby increasing the profitability of farming in the state.
